Professional Experience Daisy Vanzandt is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with fourteen years of experience in early intervention, schools, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals. She obtained her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Art degrees through the University of Central Florida in Orlando, holds state licensure, and is certified through the American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA). She currently treats children and their families in the DENVER METRO area. Her age ranges include birth to twelve.

Daisy enjoys working closely with families to educate and support their family’s communication. Her mission is to show families how they can be instrumental in their child's speech and language development.

Detailed– Her detailed eyes and ears are always evaluating the child as a whole, while monitoring other areas of development. Her note taking is detailed with examples of what the child did and what the parents can do at home.
In brief, it is a person who has completed their Masters in Communicative Disorders, completed a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) post graduation, and been recommended for Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA). State licensure is required in most states. Some professionals obtain a Doctorate degree. An SLP can diagnose and treat infants in intensive care, toddlers in homes and preschools, children in schools, adults in hospitals and rehabilitation centers, and private practices.
